Low-Carbon Ferro Manganese
Overview & Characteristics
Low carbon ferromanganese is a manganese-iron alloy with carbon content strictly controlled below 0.7% and manganese content typically ranging from 75% to 85%. The product appears as silver-gray metallic lumps, characterized by dense structure, uniform composition, and low melting point.

Production Process
Using high-carbon ferromanganese (Mn≥78%) as raw material, the "silicothermic method + vacuum refining" process is adopted: at 1400-1600℃, ferrosilicon reduces and removes carbon, and the vacuum environment inhibits carbon rebound to control final carbon at 0.1%-0.5%; after cooling, then crushed intodifferent kinds of size lumps.
