Humidity Control
Ideal Range: The relative humidity of the storage environment should be controlled between 30% and 60% to avoid excessive humidity leading to rust or mold.
Moisture Prevention: Store in a dry warehouse using desiccants or desiccants, and ensure the packaging is tightly sealed.
Temperature and Cleaning
Temperature Requirements: The recommended storage temperature is 10℃-30℃ to avoid extreme temperatures affecting material performance.
Cleaning Management: Keep the material surface free of dust and oil stains. Warehouse floors and shelves should be cleaned regularly.
Safety and Inspection
Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the material surface for rust and mold, and record the ambient temperature and humidity.
Safe Handling: Avoid collisions during handling; ensure stable stacking; hazardous materials should be labeled with warning signs.
Special Precautions
Iron Nitride Properties: Iron nitride alloys may release ammonia gas in humid or heated environments; therefore, they must be strictly sealed and kept away from heat sources.
General requirements for alloys: Ferrous alloys (including nitriding alloys) should generally be stored as deoxidizers or alloying additives to avoid contact with contaminants.
